Writing Consulting

TWaw can help your organization describe itself architecturally.

What does this mean?

If you have a building, campus, or portfolio of buildings, I can help you describe it in writing, from simple project descriptions to text that expresses your brand architecturally and environmentally. Or if you are planning to design a new building, I can capture your organization’s identity in architectural terms, helping to assure that what you build fits who you are.

Why is this valuable?

A building, campus, town or city is one of the core assets of an organization, whether it is a business, educational institution, or public agency. You should be able to describe it in ways that leverage its value—to customers, employees, residents, students, alumni, donors, and the public. If you are building something new, you need text and images that capture who you are and who you want to be. Your new home must communicate the right image and function the right way.

Why TWaw?

It’s all in the name: I am both an architect and a writer. I understand buildings and how they are designed, and I can communicate this knowledge to a variety of audiences. For over a decade, I have consulted to one of the world’s most distinguished architecture firms, helping them win major international projects and contributing to lectures and books. This experience has shown me firsthand that organizations need help describing the character of their environment—or the environment they hope to attain—in meaningful and effective text.
